New images from The Boys season 4 introduce the show's newest Supes: Firecracker and Sister Sage. Based on the comics by Garth Ennis, Prime Video has turned the live-action TV series into one of their biggest hits. The adult-oriented superhero series gained popularity for its violence and ability to parody comic book adaptations and the growing obsession with superheroes in pop culture. The Boys season 3 further solidified the show's immense popularity, as it once again received a very positive response and routinely trended on social media for its biggest events, such as Herogasm. Through it all, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), and Homelander (Antony Starr) remained at the center of the story.
After introducing major characters from the comics like Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) in season 3, The Boys season 4 previously announced casting for a few characters who are seemingly original creations for the show. Alongside the news that Ryan actor Cameron Crovetti was becoming a season regular, Susan Hayward (Orange Is The New Black) and Valorie Curry (The Tick) joined the cast as new Supes. It has also since been confirmed that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is finally joining The Boys, but his season 4 role is being kept under wraps.

Now, official photos for The Boys season 4 reveal the first look at the new Supes, Sister Sage (Susan Hayward) and Firecracker (Valorie Curry). The official reveal of the Supes included brief descriptions that tease the two new female characters. Sage is described as being "a thousand steps ahead of you," while Firecracker "has a short fuse." With production now underway, check out the new The Boys season 4 Supes (above).
The Boys Season 4's New Supes Can Solve The Seven's Problem
Now that the first look at Firecracker and Sister Sage in The Boys season 4 has arrived, the lack of details about the new Supes means that viewers are left to speculate about how they will factor into the story. Showrunner Eric Kripke confirmed on Twitter that both of them will join The Seven in season 4, though, which means they will help solve the team's biggest problem. The events of The Boys season 3's ending left Homelander's team in disarray, as only three members were left alive and part of the team. Firecracker and Sister Sage will now join Homelander, The Deep, and A-Train in The Boys season 4.
With a new version of Black Noir also confirmed to appear in season 4, The Boys' new Supes really help round out the team. It also somewhat surprisingly means that Homelander and Vought are going to allow more diverse members to join the team. Season 3 showed them favor Supersonic to join the team over Silver Kincaid. Now that Firecracker and Sister Sage are joining The Seven, the team will retain two female members even after Starlight and Queen Maeve's exits, while it also adds another hero of color. Whether either of these Supes knows what they are getting themselves into will be up for The Boys season 4 to reveal.
